Superman is the most powerful being on planet Earth, an alien immigrant named Kal-El from the planet Krypton who was raised in Smallville, Kansas, to become an American superhero.

Chp. 8 p.222 - Being prejudice is to have a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Once the world found out what Superman was, regardless of the fact that he grew up on Earth and having been living amongst Americans his whole life, people was ready for his to leave. They wanted him to go back home, they instantly seen him as a threat to society.
Chp. 10 p.281 - To have power is the ability to impose one's will on others. I think that Superman did not have any power over the people. Cause no matter how much good he has done there where people that still thought he was doing harm upon them.
Chp. 6 p.157 - A rebel is someone who rejects society's approved goals and means instead create and work towards their own goals using new means. No matter what any one thought about Superman he still helped his country. Although no one else was dressing up in a consume and could fly he did what he felt was right. He felt like it was his duty to protect them.
